                                                       New Beginnings for our churches

Pastor Janna Bader graduated from Luther Seminary in 2015 and served as a first call pastor in Faith    Lutheran Church in the NW MN Synod.  A native of North Dakota, she studied Elementary Education at MSU in Moorhead and taught for twenty years before answering her call to ministry.  Her ministry  experience is a bit eclectic (but she likes eclectic!) from her time as a Sunday School Teacher, to being a Director of Youth and Family Ministries, to being a Synodically Authorized Minister in South Dakota, to serving internship at a five point parish in Minnesota, to becoming a solo pastor of a rural parish. Helping people connect their stories to their neighbors’ stories and God’s story is what she loves most about being a pastor.  She likes hiking in the woods, kayaking, hymns on the piano, cooking meals with her husband (Mark), coffee and lefse.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about  anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
                                                                                                                          Philippians 4:4-7

Please read the quidelines for in church worship before coming to church.  We need everyone to stay safe!   Thank you!

  • Everyone must wear a mask at all times when inside the building.
  • Spaces in pews will be marked where you are able to sit.
  • No hand-shaking during worship.
  • There will be no singing or group spoken responses.
  • Socializing can be done outside of church.

If you have any questions please contact Jill or your Church President.

Thank you for staying safe!

Here's a  prayer, which you can use to continue to connect with God and your community, wherever you are:
O God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
